VENDORS
Thank
you for your interest in the Marshfield Fair. The Fair has a
long, varied, and prosperous history which will continue this, our
146th year.
Last year the Fair had a gate of approximately 180,000 visitors for
ten days. We are predominately a family/agricultural oriented
fair with 4H shows, arts, crafts, major agricultural exhibits, and
other related displays. We have a large midway section
operated by Dean and Flynn’s Fiesta Shows, one of
New England’s finest carnivals and midway operations. A
variety of free entertainment is also offered by the Fair throughout
the day and evening hours. The free entertainment includes
such events as, an authentic wild west show, a blues festival,
a
rhythm and blues festival, oldies night, auto thrill shows,
demolition derbies, two motor cross shows, animal displays, birds of
prey and much much more!
The
following information should help in your decision-making process
regarding joining this year’s Fair. We hope you will join
us.
Dates
and hours of operation:
Friday August 17th through Sunday August 26th,
2012
The gates will open at noon.
Location:
Marshfield Fair is on Rt. 3A approximately thirty-six (36) miles
south of Boston
Accommodations:
Mobile home trailers facilities are available on a first come first
serve basis
Several hotels and motels are available
within a ten-mile radius of the fair
Vendor areas:
All areas are outdoors; a vendor/exhibitor must have one of the
followingr
1. Have a
self-contained unit
2. Provide their
own tent, which is subject to approval by the Fair
3. Make prior
arrangements for a Fair supplied 10’X10’tent ($250.00), other
sizes available.
Pricing:
Vendor/exhibitor
space starts at ten feet for $700.00. Additional footage is
charged at a minimum of $70.00 per
foot of frontage.
The
basic electrical is $100.00 for two 20amp plugs, any heavier
electrical
requirements are priced accordingly.
Insurance:
All
vendors/exhibitors are required to have an insurance policy with one
million
dollars of both bodily injury and property
damage coverage. Those
vendors/exhibitors not having this coverage
may purchase coverage under the
Fair’s policy for a fee of $100.00
dollars.
If you
would like to be a part of the Marshfield Fair, please send the
following:
1. A picture of your stand as it would be set up at the Fair.
2. The total
frontage that you will require, including hitches, steps, etc.
3. A list of your
products, including a price range.
4. Electrical
requirements if you require more than basic electrical usage.
5. Please
also describe any special needs or requirements if applicable.
